The Job
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician you will be working on the operation of the Wind Turbines and will be involved in a number of activities including the following:
- Day to day maintenance of turbine plant and apparatus
- Maintain all gearboxes and hydraulic systems within the facility
- Ensure electrical generators operate in accordance with company procedure
- Carry out fault finding activities and solve problem in appropriate manner
- Supervising subcontractors on site
- Complete reports in compliance with company Health & Safety procedures

Due to the nature and environment of the role you would need to be comfortable working at heights and open spaces as you will be operating within the turbine facilities. People working in this role would need a good level of physical fitness.
What are the entry requirements for this job?
A qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering such as a Degree, HNC/HND or similar is essential for the role. Time served qualifications would also be acceptable. Backgrounds in oil, gas, heavy engineering, industrial or manufacturing would be ideal as examples.
How much will I get paid?
Salaries for this role will vary from £20,000 to £27,000 based on the experience of the individual. Salaries and associated benefit packages may differ depending on the employer.
