Network Officer

The Job

- To provide engineering support and management of design, construction, operation and maintenance of the network, ensuring a safe, effective and economic supply to all customers.
- Provide support and management of operational activities
- Co-ordinate the safe, effective and economic construction of the Network
- Supervise Risk Management studies, defining accountability etc
- Audit contractors to ensure the safe, effective and economic construction of the distribution system
- Prepare and present reports with appropriate actions to meet business requirements
- Ensure all Health & Safety at work are observed in order to protect staff, colleagues and others
- Participate in call-out rota as appropriate

Have you got what it takes?

Excellent communication skills are essential for the role due to the nature of the work. Team work is a strong element of the role so individuals must be comfortable working in this environment as well as working under their own initiative. Applicants need to be educated to a Level 2 standard (5 GCSEs at Grade C and above)
