The Job
The role of the Network Operations Manager is:
- To provide the Management with the technical supervision and support required to ensure the safe, efficient and cost effective management of network operations in the Transmission & Distribution industry.
- Manage the gas emergency response within the Transmission & Distribution industry, ensuring that sufficient resources are available
- Undertake duties relating to the protection of live gas apparatus from 3rd party damage
- Ensure all records are maintained and available in compliance with company procedure and legislation
- To provide technical support and advice on live gas and emergency situations within the Transmission & Distribution industry
- Ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently and economically whilst ensuring continuity of supply
- Work as part of a team to ensure targets are achieved and encourage team working
- Ensure all regulations relating to Health & Safety and Environmental issue are adhered to
- Supervise work on site as and when required
What is required for the role?
Key requirements for the role are strong inter-personal skills due to the team based elements of daily operations. A good education is required for this Level 3 post
