The Job
The role of Technician involves the following responsibilities:
- Providing technical supervision and support to ensure the safe and efficient management of network operations
- Plan, supervise and monitor the live gas operations and emergency works
- Carry out activities relating to the protection of gas apparatus
- Carry out appropriate behaviour to resolve issues such as gas escapes and issues with gas supply
- Provide technical support and advice on live gas and emergency situations in the Transmission & Distribution industry
- Ensure work is carried out safely and efficiently in line with company procedures while ensuring supply
