As an Environmental Technician you will:
- Operate, maintain and repair environmental testing equipment
- Monitor air quality. emissions, collect air and/ or material samples
- Measure airflow
- Analyse data to determine actual and potential risks and hazards
Have you got what it takes?
Working with environmental scientists in the field you will be responsible for inspecting equipment. evaluating equipment operation while maintaining and operating equipment whilst carrying out sampling and field research.
The minimum requirement for the role is a two year degree in environmental technology or a related field. In addition, you will need a mechanical aptitude, possess problem solving skills, be able to communicate effectively and hold good knowledge of industrial wastewater and air quality regulations.
