Calling all gas and waste management businesses - we need your views!

If you are a gas or waste management business with up to 250 employees, and are interested in growing your business, either to become more effective in what you currently do, or to break into new markets....this new initiative is for you...but we need your help!
The Energy & Utility Skills Group (EU Skills Group), the Sector Skills Council for the gas, power, waste management and water industries is in the process of securing £1.4m investment from Government to develop a tailored, cost-effective solution for small businesses in the gas and waste management industries.
Led by, you, the industry this investment will support the development of locally based small business Networks. The Networks will help you to increase in size, take on and train new staff and maximise the growing opportunities that exist in other markets with the growth of new technologies. They will also improve access to training solutions and funding opportunities as well as helping small firms break into areas such as Green Deal and renewable technologies to find work.

To ensure that the Networks are relevant to you, the EU Skills Group has developed a short questionnaire to capture your views. Please take a few minutes to complete the questionnaire, the closing date for completion is Thursday 14 June 2012.
