The National Skills Academy for Power will sit at the heart of the Power Sector, driving excellence in skills and bringing together employers, skills organisations and stakeholders. It will transform the future of skills and competence across the sector, through collaboration and investment by addressing the critical, current and future skills challenges the sector is facing.

Employers, through the National Skills Academy for Power, will take a national approach to power sector skills needs and related provision, identifying gaps and avoiding duplication. The National Skills Academy for Power will take a long-term strategic view of skills needs 'future proofing' the sector at each stage of the supply chain.

Through collaboration the National Skills Academy for Power will develop the capacity, capability, quality and consistency of training and education to deliver the skills needs of a sustainable UK power sector.
