Started working for Energy & Utility Skills: July 2013
What do you enjoy most about working at Energy & Utility Skills?
The people, culture and the opportunity to contribute to organisational and team goals. Since joining Energy & Utility Skills in 2013, I’ve had the chance to develop and improve my skills, which is really important to me.
Recognising my passion for Marketing, the company offered me the chance to take on a variety of Marketing responsibilities, as part of my Membership & Sales Co-ordinator role, to increase my understanding and experience of this profession. This has included, managing the membership promotional campaign, website content management and collateral.
In discussing my learning and development needs and aspirations with my line manager, the company agreed to sponsor me to complete a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Foundation Certificate in Marketing. I have thoroughly enjoyed the course and have my last exam to complete in June 2019.
Energy & Utility Skills does a lot of positive work for the sector; it’s rewarding to see how everyone in the company is making a difference to the industry. There’s opportunities across the company for people to be what they want to be.
