Group Training Associations (GTA) England Conference 2018

The Group Training Associations (GTA) England Conference 2018 takes place on November 7 2018 in London.

Head of Energy & Utilities Independent Assessment Service (EUIAS), Dr Jacqueline Hall and Provider Engagement Manager, Steven Green, will be attending the event to discuss EUIAS’s movement into the delivering end-point assessment for apprentices on the Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician (MOET) – apprenticeship standard level 3. This signifies a new direction for EUIAS; expanding our reach into other industries outside of the realms of energy and utilities.

The Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician (MOET) apprenticeship standard was developed to train competent maintenance and operations engineering technicians.

The apprenticeship is applicable across various industries with a flexible option to serve seven different roles:

  • Electrical Technicians
  • Mechanical Technicians
  • Control & Instrumentation Technicians
  • Wind Turbine Technicians
  • Electrical System and Process Control Technicians
  • Electromechanical Technicians
  • Plant Operations Technicians
