Energy & Utility Skills has been named on the shortlist for a Utility Week Award, in the Utility Partner of the Year category. The awards ceremony will take place on 10 December 2018 at Park Lane’s Grosvenor House Hotel.

The Utility Partner of the Year category called for entrants to demonstrate how they have helped sector employers achieve their business goals, added value and provided quantifiable benefits to partners, customers and other stakeholders. Energy & Utility Skills’ top 10 achievements during the first three years of Nick Ellins being its Chief Executive are listed in an article in the news section of the company website.

The shortlist also includes the Energy & Utilities Independent Assessment Service, in the running for the Supply Chain Excellence Award, plus over a dozen Energy & Utility Skills’ members across the 14 categories.

The Utility Week Awards ceremony, which takes place every year in December, is among the most prestigious dates in the sector calendar.

Jan Ward, Chair of Energy & Utility Skills, commented: “As an organisation dedicated to ensuring a skilled, resilient and sustainable workforce for the UK’s vital utility sector, Energy & Utility Skills is proud to be announced as a finalist for the Utility Partner of the Year.
