Energy & Utility Skills receives Gold accreditation in the Investors in People Award

Energy & Utility Skills celebrates receiving Gold accreditation in the Investors in People Award.

We are delighted to have achieved the Investors in People Gold accreditation in 2018. This is a great progression for us, having previously received Silver in 2015. This achievement recognises our commitment to making Energy & Utility Skills a great place to work, a quality that was echoed by employees in their responses to the survey and Investors in People interviews.

Our Gold accreditation is certified until 2021 and awarded to the top two percentiles of all organisations assessed.

Nick Ellins, CEO, commented:

“Energy & Utility Skills exists to assist the water, waste management, power and gas industries in ensuring they have a safe, skilled and resilient workforce. The utility business environment continues to evolve rapidly in every discipline, and we committed to our members that we would evolve with them, striving to make excellence the standard in all that we do. Not only have we achieved the Gold Standard award, we have achieved ‘high performing’ status – the Platinum Standard – in many areas. This is great recognition for all of the hard work that has been put in by my whole team and Board. It gives us vital independent verification that we are on the right track towards excellence, ensuring our sector has a skills body that is continually seeking to be the absolute best we can be in our field of expertise.”
