With effect from 1 October 2019, we are removing the mandatory requirement for all approved trainers of our Passport Schemes to retain evidence they have provided individuals with a copy of our Privacy Notice.

We all have a legal requirement to inform individuals why we collect their data and how it will be used. To support our centres in this, we include a privacy statement in the exemplar Registration Form provided for each Passport Scheme. At the next scheme review, we will also be adding in a slide into the beginning of the scheme presentations, to help trainers explain why and how individuals’ data will be used by Energy & Utility Skills.
