We are launching our re-developed SHEA Waste & Resource Management and SWITCH scheme in January 2020.
Existing SHEA Waste trainers will be invited, via email, to attend a trainer briefing, where they will be introduced to the revised scheme and new delivery and support materials.
The half-day trainer briefings will take place over a week, at our office in Solihull and at a location in Scotland; trainers will get the opportunity to book on to an AM or PM slot.
In these briefings, trainers will be taken through the new specification, which details the knowledge, understanding and behaviours within the training programme. The specification also includes new assessment criteria, which clarifies exactly what individuals will be assessed against.
Trainers will also be introduced to the latest SHEA Core content, as well as updated content on the SHEA Waste and Resource Management modules.
We have also introduced new and revised questions for the assessment which will carry on being delivered through a multiple choice test.
Email invitations are being sent out to all approved SHEA Waste trainers in December which will include instructions on how to book onto a briefing. Attending a briefing is mandatory to maintain approval and non-attendance will result in the removal of approval.
