Energy & Utility Skills recognises that it is difficult for individuals to attend face to face training, and to support the energy and utilities sector we are implementing further measures.
Energy & Utility Skills are extending all SHEA registrations due to expire between 27 March 2020 and 30 June 2020 by three months.
This extension will allow employers – and individuals – time to arrange their renewal training for SHEA EUSR registrations. The renewal training must take place within three months of the extended expiry date and the start of the renewal registration will be from start from the original expiry date.
Energy & Utility Skills are also working on guidance to support online delivery of SHEA training and assessment, for new and renewal SHEA EUSR registrations. We will be issuing guidance to help and support those who wish to deliver via this route shortly. This is a temporary position and it will be reviewed regularly. It will give employers, and Approved Trainers, the flexibility to continue to deliver face to face training.
With EUSR ID cards being delivered to offices and so many already closed or due to close, there will be delays in cards getting to individuals. We are therefore encouraging all companies and individuals to use EUSR, our online register (www.eusr.co.uk) to check SHEA registrations for the period of the pandemic.
If you have any queries or questions, please contact EUSR Support, Monday – Friday, 8.00am – 5.00pm, email eusr@euskills.co.uk or call us on 0121 745 1310 (option 1).
