Energy & Utility Skills invites employers, training providers and professional bodies to review the revised Utility Network Design National Occupational Standards (NOS). The suite covers the design of utility networks to meet client and regulatory requirements.

NOS describe what an individual needs to do and needs to know to perform a work activity, including the skills, knowledge and understanding required. They can be applied across the UK and are used in the development of in-house training programmes, plus they are a key component for qualifications and apprenticeship frameworks.

With support and input from industry stakeholders, the Utility Network Design NOS suite has been updated to ensure they reflect current working practices within the industry.

Following a series of industry workshops and drafting of the revised suite, we’re asking industry stakeholders from across the UK to review and comment on the NOS to ensure they reflect industry best practice. Adolygu Safonau Galwedigaethol Cenedlaethol (NOS)

Mae Energy & Utility Skills yn gwahodd cyflogwyr, darparwyr hyfforddiant a chyrff proffesiynol i adolygu’r Safonau Galwedigaethol Cenedlaethol (NOS) diwygiedig ar gyfer Dylunio Rhwydwaith Cyfleustodau. Mae’r gyfres yn ymdrin â dylunio rhwydweithiau cyfleustodau i fodloni gofynion cleientiaid a rheoleiddiol.

Mae NOS yn disgrifio’r hyn y mae angen i unigolyn ei wneud a’r hyn y mae angen iddo ei wybod i gyflawni gweithgaredd yn y gwaith, gan gynnwys y sgiliau, y wybodaeth a’r ddealltwriaeth sydd eu hangen. Gellir eu cymhwyso ledled y DU ac fe’u defnyddir i ddatblygu rhaglenni hyfforddiant mewnol, ac maent hefyd yn gydran allweddol ar gyfer fframweithiau cymwysterau a phrentisiaeth.

Gyda chymorth a mewnbwn gan randdeiliaid y diwydiant, mae cyfres NOS Dylunio Rhwydwaith Cyfleustodau wedi’i diweddaru i sicrhau ei bod yn adlewyrchu arferion gwaith cyfredol o fewn y diwydiant.
