Trainer Briefings
Almost 450 of our Approved Trainers have attended a Trainer Briefing this year. We’re delighted with the positive feedback provided during the sessions – particularly how valuable Trainers are finding the Programme Leader Guides.
As a result of your feedback, we will be making some minor changes to the SHEA schemes within the next 3 months. We’ll be communicating further information on these changes over the next few weeks to all Approved Trainers detailing how they can access the updates.
SHEA Conversion
We are pleased that following the recent scheme updates, SHEA Conversion is now available. This was formerly known as ‘SHEA Reciprocity’ or ‘SHEA Transition’. SHEA Conversion is a way for individuals who already hold a SHEA Registration, and want to obtain an additional SHEA registration, to do so by just completing additional modules without having to take the whole one-day programme . We have produced a SHEA Conversion Guide detailing the requirements for conversion for each SHEA scheme. This can be found on your Trainer Device.
Trainer Devices
SHEA Trainers are advised to take time to familiarise themselves with the redeveloped materials, prior to delivering their first training programme. Also in order to access the new materials and pre-register their courses, SHEA Trainers will need to download and activate their new Trainer Device as soon as possible, as devices for all old SHEA schemes have now been ‘deactivated’.
All registration applications for the ‘old’ SHEA Gas, Power, Network & Telecoms and Cross Country Pipelines Health & Safety Passport must be received by the EUSR support team for processing by 25 May 2018.
If you have any questions about the SHEA updates, please contact us.
