SHEA SWITCH in Scotland

We are launching SHEA SWITCH in Scotland this August. This new Passport scheme is a collaboration between Energy & Utility Skills and SWITCH (Scottish Waste Industry Competency Health and Safety Forum) to further support and promote health and safety in the resource management industry in Scotland.

SHEA SWITCH in Scotland

SHEA SWITCH aligns to the highly respected SWITCH Competency Framework. Those who successfully complete the programme will be given an EUSR registration (valid for 3 years). Their EUSR Photo ID card will carry both the SWITCH and CSCS logos. The SWITCH endorsement of SHEA Waste will increase and strengthen awareness and adoption of the programme in the sector across Scotland.

The programme will continue to be called SHEA Waste and Resource Management throughout the rest of the UK and all Trainers approved to run SHEA Waste courses in the UK are also automatically approved to offer SHEA SWITCH.
