NCO (Water) Registration – Virtual Card

Description

The Network Construction Operations (Water) – NCO (Water) – is a registration scheme for the skills, knowledge and understanding required to perform various tasks and duties on the water network.

Registration on EUSR is gained when the evidence for registration has been submitted and verified. For new-entrant individuals, evidence requirements include the industry-specific qualification – see more detail within each registration category.

For NCO (Water) registration on EUSR, it is a pre-requisite that the individual holds a valid EUSR registration for both National Water Hygiene and Safety, Health and Environmental Awareness (SHEA) Water.

NCO (Water) registration is valid for five years, with the exception of the Trainee category. Registration for the Trainee (Probationary) category is valid for fifteen months or one year Trainee (Experienced). Registration for both categories of Trainee cannot be renewed and registration is only available once on each category.

Registration Categories

Registration on NCO (Water) is available in the following categories:

• Trainee
• Assistant
• Service Layer
• Main Layer (broken down by mains pipe size)
• Supervisor

In addition to the registration category listed above, the individual will also be registered as either ‘Self-Lay’ or ‘Distribution’ – determined by their qualification and submitted as part of the evidence requirements.

Ordering your Virtual Card

To access your new virtual card, your EUSR record must include your mobile number, which is why we request it on the Registration Form.

You will only receive your card once the Registration Form has been received and verified.

Once completed, please return the form to us by email to eusr@euskills.co.uk

Please select the ‘Debit/Credit card’ option in the form, to confirm that you have made payment online.

All new EUSR registrations now come with a virtual card by default, which makes checking the card quicker and more secure on site and reduces the plastic we all use.  Some employers may also pay £2 for an additional plastic smart card. You must provide a mobile number to receive an SMS message with a unique registration and PIN number to access your virtual card.
